We also make custom shoes and boots for you.

For a custom-made item, you can choose your favorite leather color, leather type, sole, heel shape, and heel height. You can have the zipper on your boot on the inside, outside, or back of the shaft, and much more. We are happy to advise you.

NICAY custom boots, riding boots, and custom shoes are only available from us in Trier because we can take your measurements in person there and advise you in detail regarding leather type, footbed, possible integration of orthopedic insoles, heel, soles, and look or design .

Once we have saved your measurements, you can, of course, order our shoes and boots by email, through our website, or by phone.

Good things take time

The production time for NICAY custom boots and custom shoes is approx. 90 days. It's a time that is worth it in every respect: you get a unique and individual shoe or boot that is perfectly made to your wishes.

Perfect fit and high quality guarantee that your personal boots or shoes will accompany you for many years.

We do not offer short-lived styles subject to the fast pace of fashion, but timeless design. This, in addition to the high quality, guarantees you long-lasting enjoyment of your shoes and boots.

A boot or shoe customization is available for only 290,- Euro extra on top of the standard price of the shoe or boot.

These 290,- Euro include:

Measuring of the legs and feet
Joint selection of the most suitable shoe last
Integration of orthopedic insoles (if available)
Consideration and discussion of any existing foot problems/foot peculiarities such as hallux valgus, heel spurs, pressure points, high instep, particularly narrow or wide feet etc.
Intensive consultation and joint selection of leather type, leather color, sole, heel, and design
Individual ordering of upper and lining leather, soles and heels for your individual shoe or boot: The vegetable- tanned upper leather is – depending on choice

of leather – from ecopell in Southern Germany or from our tannery in Tuscany (Consorzio Vera Pelle) – sent to our boot manufactory in Spain. The velvety soft lining leather also comes from ecopell in Southern Germany. When all necessary materials have arrived at the manufactory, the boot is custom-made in elaborate handcraft specifically to your personal boot measurements.

Your individual custom wooden last – the heart of the shoe

Not all feet are the same; not even a person's right and left foot have the same measurements. If shoes are really to fit 100%, if you generally have painful feet or significantly different feet, a good last is essential.

The task in making custom lasts is to create a perfect shape based on the model of your feet, which will later be used for the construction of your custom shoe. With 90 years of experience, much craftsmanship and attention to detail, the custom lasts for our NICAY custom shoes are made by the orthopedic master craftsman Bermes in Trier. Should your feet change over time, this will of course be incorporated into the lasts.

The price for your individual custom last is a one-time fee of 300,- Euro.

Do you already have a custom last? Of course, we can also use this last for our handmade NICAY custom shoes and custom boots.
